Locals Sharing What We Love

We started maple-hub in 2018 with a simple conviction: the best way to experience a place is through the eyes of those who call it home. All of us grew up exploring the hills, valleys, and streets of South Yorkshire. These landscapes shaped us, and now we want to share them with curious visitors.

Our approach is unhurried and personal. We limit group sizes deliberately, preferring genuine conversation over scripted commentary. When you walk with us, you hear stories that have been passed down through generations, see viewpoints that locals keep to themselves, and visit establishments where the owners know our names.

Beyond tourism, we care deeply about preserving what makes this region special. We support local conservation efforts, partner exclusively with independent businesses, and ensure our tours tread lightly on the landscape we love.
